Fantastic Lola

Fantastic Lola (2021–23) //

“Fantastic Lola” is the artist’s first solo production, building on the success of “Lola” and supported by funding from the Fonds Darstellende Künste. The show revolves around the same character Monsieur Flap, and the construction of a mobile and modular stage structure to create a self-sustaining touring format for the future piece. For their prototype and design of a mobile scaffolding structure and exploration of new spaces for contemporary circus, Annika received a research grant from the Performing Arts Fund in 2022.
